photo friday – gui galembeck
I’m way behind in my posts, with many fun and horrible things to share… but I’m in the middle of a rather abrupt move, and throwing myself at the city… let’s hope I stick.
Anyway, my Portuguese just isn’t strong enough to know much about Gui (except that he has a cool name) but his work is solid and worth the visit to his website. Maybe he’s interested in telling us a little about himself, and this photo? Gui?

Thanks Jeremy for your comment ! This one was shot on the II Paulinia Film Festival, about 1 hour from São Paulo, Brasil. This girl is my well loved girlfriend, and photographer, Tatiana Ribeiro smoking a Marlboro during the brake between the film exhibitions. Reflected, is my friend and film maker Mateus Loner. His most recent short movie is called “One Picture” (Uma Foto) and it is about a guy trying to do one last picture before another guy tries to steal the camera. It’s all about argumentation. So this is my “one picture” to him before he left the smoking room. Yes, I kept with the camera !
