Tonight I easily talked my sister into a ride to the lake so I could get a line in the water and test the early salmon run. No luck with the fish but there was a powerful chop pounding the pier with kids standing by finding it as exciting as fireworks.

I got to take in a preview of Erika Kristine Bogner’s show, Adieu View set to open September 15, upstairs at Snug Harbor. Good stuff there… worth the trip to the lake for cocktails and photography as our afternoons cool the deeper we get into the month.

For those of you with the misfortune of never meeting Ghani, I give you the G-Dog.

Yes, here we go indeed. It’s the end of summer, the heat has lost it’s edge, and I’ve spent more days than I can count getting this site back online… getting some minor writing back on track… and getting on with the business of shooting. Cheers to Fall.

Please feel free to offer up opinions on what you see here and how the site is functioning. There’s a few new elements that I didn’t have before and I want to make sure I’m catching bugs early.

I don’t think I’m going to be as wordy in posts as I have been in the past. I’m sure I’ll spout off an opinion here and there… maybe serve up thoughts on photography… and keep a keen eye on how our nation’s leaders interact as the world is on fire… but mostly this will be about producing work, seeing how well it filters from blog to gallery and on to portfolio.
